The Moon and the Horned One

I've always had a love of folklore and ancient mythology. My favourite goddess is Selene, and I draw her often. I typically portray her in a long white gown, with her torch, but for some reason I decided that she should be nude in this instance.
Selene is the Greek incarnation of the moon as a goddess, as well as the goddess of protection, watching over the earth as we sleep. Despite her role as goddess of protection, I've always pictured her as being very delicate looking, smaller and sweeter looking than say, Pallas Athene. Selene's look is actually very Sailor Mooon inspired, which only makes sense, considering that Sailor Moon was inspired by the legend of Selene and Endymion.
Selene is described as wearing a half moon on her head. In most classical portrayals, the headdress is very large, and bears some resemblance to those worn by Isis or Hathor. I always felt this was too bulky for Selene, because I portray her as being very slender and dainty. If she had a stronger build, she could probably pull it off. In lieu of the big headdress, I opted for a small, upturned silver crescent, suspended by two strands of pearls on her head. I feel it suits her, as does the matching necklace.
Selene's animal attendants (a cat, a rabbit, and two milk white horses) are not with her in this picture, but she's certainly not alone. Selene is accompanied by the Celtic god, Cernunnos (I hope I spelled that right. The last thing I need is an insulted diety coming after me.) It's an odd pairing, but somehow it works. This is my first Cernunnos drawing.
I initialy had him with a pentagram pendant, but a friend advised me that a Maiden-Mother-Crone moon pendant might be more appropriate. I was originally planning to do the pendant in gold, but since it's the moon, I decided silver would be better.
He has a very well toned physique, which makes me wonder if maybe I should lay off the Greek statues for a while His arms do seem especially big, but perhaps that just emphasizes his strength as a diety. As I understand it, he's something of a fertility god, and I wondered if i should give him a larger phallus. I then decided that what he had worked well with his proportions, and if I made him bigger, this might look like a porn pic, which was certainly not my intention.
